François Lapointe

Mr. Lapointe has served as Regional Director for Desjardins Venture Capital Group in the Eastern Townships since May 2001.
Mr. Lapointe has acquired a vast amount of experience with manufacturing companies operating in Québec.
He has held the posts of vice president, finance, and assistant to the general manager responsible for export sales, then rising to general manager.
As well, he has fulfilled several financial rectification mandates for various financial institutions.
Highly involved in the business milieu, he has been an administrator for many years for Caisses Populaires Desjardins.
Mr. Lapointe is member of the Corporation professionnelle des administrateurs agréés du Québec.
He has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Management of Information and Systems, and a minor in Accounting and Finance.
