Gerhard Weisbrich is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of the Board of Management of BlackRock Asset Management Deutschland AG.
Since joining the company on 1 May 2001, he has been as the general manager responsible for the areas of Fund Service, Controlling, Risk Management, Quality Management and IT processes.
Weisbrich began his professional career with the Hypo-Bank in Munich.
Before switching to INDEXCHANGE Investment AG, he was responsible for the fund service of special-purpose funds, investment funds offered to the public and portfolio management at Allfonds Bayerische Kapitalanlagegesellschaft in Munich (now Activest Investmentgesellschaft mbH).
Gerhard Weisbrich has held responsible positions in asset management since 1975 and actively helped shape the HVB Group's fund business during this time.
