Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smith supervised fixed income and equity portfolio accounting groups for Barclays Global Investors and was a Senior Financial Analyst for both a nationwide pharmacy benefits manager and for a local hospital system.
He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University.
He is a CFA charterholder.
