Data processing equipment division is engaged in system development, sale and maintenance of data processing equipment.

Hitachi Solutions Business Ltd. develops and markets computer systems and software. The company's principal activity is to develop and market business supporting application software and integrated systems. It is also involved in installation and assembly services of computers, qualities of software related service and the sale of information processing equipment. Its operations are carried through the following divisions: Software Solutions, Systems Solutions and Information Equipment/Services. The company was founded in April 1976 and is headquartered in Yokohama, Japan.
