Mr. Logan joined SAMCO Capital Markets in 2004 as a Managing Director, bringing a wealth of fixed income experience to the firm.
Most recently, he spent a one-year stint in Dallas with BOSC, Inc. a subsidiary of BOk Financial Corporation.
In 1998, he relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to join William R.
Hough and Co., subsequently returning to Dallas to open a regional sales office for that firm.
Previously, he worked at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. as Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager, where he was responsible for offices in Dallas, New York, San Francisco and San Antonio.
He began his career in fixed income sales, trading, and underwriting in 1976 in Dallas with Kidder Peabody & Co. and later worked for Merrill Lynch.
He also opened fixed income offices for First Boston and Dillon Read in Dallas.
Before joining the industry, he worked at Texas Commerce Bank in Houston where he entered the commercial banking training program, eventually sitting on both major loan committees and managing the bank's Far East Section working in the Tokyo Representative Office.
Mr. Logan is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA and MBA in Finance.
