James L. Magruder

Mr. Magruder's focus throughout his career has been in fiscal financial responsibility, international business/product development, sales/marketing and engineering and operations management.
Prior to Alinian, Mr. Magruder has been successful in new venture start-ups, raising capital, building organizational camaraderie, creating and developing joint ventures and strategic alliances, opening new markets and driving key business initiatives.
Mr. Magruder has held executive level management positions in large corporate structures and small entrepreneurial start-ups, which include MCI (prior to WorldCom buyout) RCA Global Communications, Orion Network Systems, and General Electric Information Services with assignments around the world.
Mr. Magruder began his career with AT&T assigned to NASA as a Project Engineer/Manager for the Apollo Manned Space Flight Missions.
Prior to entering commercial life he was a top-level security and intelligence officer in the U.S.
Army where his assignment was in Russian surveillance and encryption analysis.
Mr. Magruder serves on the board of the Broward Education Foundation and volunteers his time to many charitable events throughout Broward County.
Mr. Magruder graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City where he earned an MBA focusing on Finance and Entrepreneurship.
He also attended the University of Maryland and the U.S.
Army language school at the National Security Agency.
