Jubak Asset Management LLC
Jubak Asset Management LLC Investment ManagersFinance Jubak Asset Management (JAM) seeks to invest in markets that are expected to grow faster than US markets over the next several years, while maintaining investments in domestic stocks when they look attractive. The firm seeks to identify undiscovered opportunities in less-explored regions around the world, including but not limited to China, India and Brazil. The Jubak Global Equity Fund seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in the equity securities of companies located throughout the world, including the US, at least 40% of its assets in companies organized, headquartered or doing significant business outside the US. The fund considers investments in companies that, at the time of investment, at least 50% of its assets or derives at least 50% of its revenue during the most recent fiscal year from business outside the US. The fund will invest primarily in equity securities of companies located in developed countries and may invest up to 40% of its assets in emerging markets. The funds investments in equity securities may include common stocks, preferred stocks and convertible securities. The Fund may invest in any size company, including small-cap and mid-cap companies. The Fund focuses on investing in a portfolio of stocks across all industry groups, market-cap ranges and geographic locations (but in no less than 3 different countries). On occasion, the fund may have a significant portion of its assets invested in the securities of companies in one or a few countries or regions. The fund may also invest in ADRs, EDRs and GDRs and in ETFs. JAM's investment process is based on a variety of factors including macro-economic trends and geopolitical issues, as well as fundamental analysis company-specific performance, competitors and markets. The firm also considers political risk, monetary policy risk and regulatory risk when selecting foreign securities. JAM's investment approach begins with a macro-economic approach that identifies important long-term global economic, financial, demographic, technology and political trends. The firm then seeks to identify specific companies that may be positively affected by these trends prior to being recognized by the markets. In selecting specific stocks, JAM looks at a company's fundamental positioning in their market, management track records, competitive advantages and financial staying power. The firm seeks to buy the best stocks based their evaluation whenever short-term market volatility offers the opportunity to buy these stocks at low or reasonable prices. | Fundador | 31/05/2014 |
