John Charles Berry

Mr. John C.
Berry, CFA MBA, is a Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager of Canadian Equities at Foyston, Gordon & Payne, Inc (FGP).
He joined FGP in 1998 as the firm’s very first equity analyst.
He is a member of the Canadian equity team with a focus on analyzing energy companies and special situations.
He also plays a key role in mentoring FGP’s research staff and is a member of FGP’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Berry spent six years as an oil and gas consulting engineer in Calgary and Houston.
He graduated with an MASc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
He is also a CFA charterholder.
