Maria Silgoner

Ms. Maria Silgoner is a Research Analyst at Österreichische Nationalbank.
Her research includes financial literacy and education, internal and external imbalances, competitiveness and trade, business cycle indicators, determinants of long-term growth, and European integration.
She joined the firm in July 1999.
In March 2005, she was a Secondment at the OECD at the Austria country desk.
In March, she started her career as a Researcher at the Bank of Finland in Helsinki.
She holds a Doctoral degree (with distinction) in Economics from the University of Vienna and a Master's in Economics.
