Mr. Mark J.
Durling is a Research Analyst at XCAP Securities Plc.
He has over 27 years of stock market experience, working at both small and large institutions.
Prior to entering the city, he was a Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy.
For over 14 years, he worked at Brewin Dolphin Ltd as a Buy-side Analyst where he developed a number of valuable contacts with senior management and sell-side analysts across a wide range of sectors.
He also contributed to the expansion of the research department, personally training several analysts over a number of years as coverage moved from the FTSE 100 to FTSE 350.
In 2009, Mr. Durling moved over to the sell-side as a Consultant with Edison Investment Research focussing on business development, sales and marketing, writing sell-side research and customer relationship management for corporate clients.
He joined XCAP in 2010, working closely with our private client departments, whilst focussing on and promoting special situation small cap company research.
Mr. Durling was previously employed as a Research Analyst by Brewin Dolphin Ltd. and a Research Analyst by Edison Investment Research Ltd.
