Matthew Randall Heintz

Mr. Heintz joined Sheridan in 2007 and was named Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary in April 2020.
During his tenure at Sheridan, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in the legal department in respect of oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, finance, hedging, securities compliance, fundraising and other corporate and transactional matters.
Prior to Sheridan, Mr. Heintz served as in-house counsel to the business development group of Apache Corporation from 2003.
He began his legal career at Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe LLP and later, Vinson and Elkins LLP.
Mr. Heintz holds a J.D.
from New York University School of Law and a B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
