Patrick E. Kelly

Mr. Patrick E.
Kelly is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer for Knights of Columbus, Inc. Mr. Patrick E.
Kelly serves as the 14th Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus since March 1, 2021.
His role includes responsibilities as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of this global Catholic fraternal service organization with over 2 million international members.
Previously, Mr. Kelly served as the Deputy Supreme Knight from 2017 until February 28, 2021, and as Vice President for Public Policy for 11 years prior.
Here, he led the Knights' interactions with the White House, U.S.
Congress, and various federal agencies.
He also held the position of State Deputy in the District of Columbia.
Before his prominent roles within the Knights, Mr. Kelly held several public service positions.
Most notably, he served as the Senior Advisor to the Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom at the State Department, making him principally responsible for the Department's interactions with the Holy See.
He held key advisory roles within the House Intelligence Committee and the Department of Justice, where he specialized in counterterrorism and national security.
In terms of education, Mr. Kelly holds a master's degree in theology from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at CUA, a law degree from Marquette University Law School, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Marquette.
He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1983.
