Mr. Peter Stage is the Head of Credit Research at F&C Asset Managers Ltd.
He is tasked with directing and enhancing the credit research process, managing and mentoring both the investment grade and high yield credit analysts and strengthening idea sharing.
He joined F&C in February 2008 from Gordian Knot Limited, a specialist credit investor, where he has been Head of Credit.
He has been responsible for an eleven-strong team at Gordian Knot providing the credit analysis of circa $60 billion of predominantly investment grade exposure in two funds, the Sigma Finance Corporation and the Theta Corporation, spanning asset backed securities, banks and other corporates.
In 1998, he joined Gordian Knot as a Credit Analyst and was promoted to Head of Credit in 2001.
He began his career in 1994 as a graduate management trainee at NatWest.
Mr. Stage graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Manchester.
