Robert Kerr

Rob Kerr is a Senior Director at Ally Ventures, where he works closely with Ally internal business partners to look for opportunities to drive innovation, growth, and efficiency through commercial relationship, mentorship, and/or strategic investments.
Kerr joined Ally in 2018, and is also part of Ally’s Strategy & Corporate Development group where he is involved with developing the firm's corporate strategy, business development, and M&A opportunities.
He leads enterprise strategic planning in partnership with Ally’s Business units to develop strategic priorities and initiatives that support the firm’s growth objectives.
Prior to joining Ally, Kerr held a range of product management and strategy roles at Bank of America, within the consumer banking division.
Before financial services, Kerr began his career at a civil engineering firm specializing in site design for public sector clients.
Kerr has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and earned an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
