Roelof O. Prins

Roelof Prins joined Frontiers Capital in 2009.
Previously he co-headed NPM Capital N.V., the oldest and one of the largest private equity firms in the Netherlands, as member of its management board.
Roelof has twenty years of experience in the private equity industry.
From 2002 until 2009 he was responsible for streamlining NPM Capital’s sprawling portfolio of over 110 direct minority investments into a cohesive portfolio of majority investments and made the company highly profitable.
Prior to joining NPM Capital, Roelof was managing director of HAL Investments B.V.
since 1990, where he build the private equity investment business of HAL Holding N.V.
He started his career at McKinsey & Company, where he worked in Los Angeles, New York and Amsterdam.
Roelof is a Dutch national and is based in the Netherlands.
He has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Wesleyan University.
