Scott Summers

Mr. Scott Summers, CFA MBA, is a Portfolio Manager of Investment Management at First National Advisers LLC.
He works on the Investment Management team where he is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients, personal trusts, institutions, foundations and endowments.
He is also a voting member of the firm’s asset allocation, mutual fund, and alternative investment committees where he is responsible for presenting a thorough analysis of economic trends and data, mutual funds, and individual securities.
Mr. Summers began his career at First National Bank in 2010 and has worked in various capacities within the organization.
Prior to joining the Investment Management team, he worked at First National’s subsidiary, Tributary Capital Management, where he prepared research and analysis on equities for the security team, and provided data analysis and reporting for the firm.
He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and went on to earn his MBA and Master’s of Investment Management and Financial Analysis from Creighton University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Nebraska.
