Terry Gao

Mr. Terry Gao is a Chief Executive Officer at Lianhe Ratings Global Ltd. Prior to joining Lianhe Global, Mr. Gao was the Executive Director of the Fixed Income Department at Guotai Junan International Holdings Ltd., mainly responsible for the origination and syndication of Chinese offshore debt products.
Before that, Mr. Gao spent about 10 years at Fitch Ratings, serving as the Asia-Pacific Head of International Public Finance, responsible for the rating projects of local governments, state-owned enterprises and asset management companies in China, India, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, and others.
Before joining Fitch Ratings, Mr. Gao also worked for various state-owned enterprises and international financial institutions including Bank of China International, Moody’s Investor Services and Standard Chartered Bank.
He earned his Master’s degree in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
He holds the Charted Financial Analyst and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants designations.
