FTAM-India’s investment philosophy is based on the belief that the analysis of fundamentals is more rewarding in the long-term than technical, even though these can be useful in the short-term. The firm's equity portfolio managers are primarily bottom-up investors. They conduct in-house fundamental research and use quantitative models based on proprietary research to screen the equity market and filter investment opportunities. FTAM-India complements this research process with company visits and meetings with key management.
