Sorenson was the Chairman-Regents Board of Luther College and the Chairman-Global Initiative of The Economic Club of Washington.
He was also the Chairman of the U.S.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and another undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2008.
