Andrew Alwin Gretzinger

Mr. Andrew A.
Gretzinger, CFA, is a Head Trader for Canadian Fixed Income at Manulife Investment Management Ltd.
He also oversees currency overlays and interest rate derivative positions for numerous client mandates.
In addition, he is a key contributor to the Canadian fixed income team’s overall fixed income strategy, providing analysis of the North American economy and fixed income markets.
He began at Manulife in 2001 as a high yield and convertible securities analyst and since then has held positions requiring progressively more responsibility.
Before being appointed head of trading, he was a portfolio manager for the team.
Prior to Manulife, he worked as an economist at the Bank of Nova Scotia.
He received his undergraduate degree from Brock University and a graduate degree from the University of Western Ontario.
He is a CFA charter holder and holds the Derivative Market Specialist designation.
