Ann Lai

Ann joined Bullpen in 2020 as a General Partner.
Prior to joining Bullpen, Ann invested and/or advised over 30 early to late stage companies on growth, product optimization, pricing models, data science best practices, KPI (re)definitions, business streamlining, and fundraising.
Companies include Dia & Co, Bellhops, Havenly, Skiplagged, Immortals Gaming Club, and more.
Before joining the venture world, Ann led R&D efforts on new alternative data sources at ITG Research (previously Majestic Research), insights for international territories at Riot Games, and growth/analytics teams at Tapingo and at StyleSeat.
Ann holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences (fluid mechanics), a masters in Applied Mathematics, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Physics, all from Harvard.
