Barbara Shaw

Ms. Barbara Shaw is a Founder & Chief Investment Officer at Imperial Capital Ltd.
She has worked in the Asia ex-Japan equities sector for over 20 years in Hong Kong.
Ms. Shaw has held senior positions in the Financial investment industry since 1988, first at the security brokerage house, ABN Amro Securities (previously Hoare Govett Asia Ltd.), then at the private bank (Coutts & Co.), and finally the French insurer, AXA Investment Managers before she set up her own firm in 2004.
She built her strong management track record in the field of pan Asia ex-Japan equities at AXA Investment Managers as where she ended up as the Head of Asian Equity and Global Balanced Investments.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Chicago in 1986.
She also holds a Professional Certificate in Sustainability after completing her 3-year graduate study in Sustainability at Harvard University in 2015.
