Prior to joining NewSchools, Ms. Rabbitt was a member of the Business Development Team at Cambridge Associates, an investment consulting firm for endowed institutions.
In addition to managing the firm's proposal process, she developed marketing materials for internal and external communications and implemented firm-wide content management projects.
Ms. Rabbitt's interest in education was sparked as an undergraduate at Dartmouth College.
She interned as a teacher for the Republic of the Marshall Islands and spent time volunteering in a local Special Education classroom.
As a Research Fellow and Assistant at the Laboratory for Adolescent Studies, she completed behavioral and neuroscience honors research on the socio-emotional development of students with learning disabilities.
Immediately following her graduation, she directed environmental education for an inner-city youth group in Massachusetts.
Ms. Rabbitt graduated cum laude from Dartmouth with an AB in Psychological and Brain Sciences.
