Mr. Chad W.
Cook is a Partner, Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Old West Investment Management LLC.
He is a member of the Portfolio Management Team and Old West Investment Committee.
He is responsible for preparing and reporting financial statement, budgeting and forecasting, managing independent auditors, outside counsel, outside fund administrators and prime broker relationships, and finally overseeing operations.
In addition, he is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance program for the firm, ensuring Old West is complying with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations and third party guidelines, and that the firm and its employees are complying with internal policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Old West, Mr. Cook was First Vice President, Institutional Sales and Research at Aletheia Research and Management, Inc. He started his professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Los Angeles audit group, where he was a member of the entertainment and finance groups.
He received both his undergraduate degree in business finance and his master's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
