Atlant Fonder seeks to maximize the return based on the funds' risk profile and at the same time minimize the effects of unwanted market movements. Their funds invest roughly 90 percent of the fund volumes in the credit and fixed income markets. The active interest rate management mainly takes place in the Swedish but also in the Nordic and European markets. An important component of management is derivatives, i.e. options and futures. The derivative strategies are primarily used to reduce risk and provide protection against market turbulence, but also to generate returns.
