Didier Lamarche

Managing Director of Sailing Capital (Hong Kong) with a B.Sc.
in Mathematical Economics, a B.A.
in Philosophy, and a M.Sc.
in Mathematical Economics and Econometrics from Universite Catholique de Louvain (UCL, Belgium) as well as a LL.B.
in Commercial Law from Universite Paris I (Pantheon Sorbonne University, Paris) and a MBA from Cornell University with a concentration in finance and entrepreneurship.
Prior to joining Sailing Capital, Didier worked for 25 years as a Private Equity investor, management consultant, financial analyst and entrepreneur on three different continents.
During the last decade, he was the Founder and CEO of Adam Smith Capital, a Private Equity firm created in New York and relocated to Hong Kong.
Previously, he worked as a Strategy Consultant for Bain & Co. and a Project Leader for The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) based out of their New York office.
Prior to this advisory experience, Didier was a financial analyst and started his career as an entrepreneur by launching and growing two start-ups in Europe.
