Friedrich Macher

Friedrich Macher has been a Director of Rail Cargo Austria AG.
He is a Member of the Committee for Social Policy and the Committee for Educational Policy of the Federation of Austrian Industry, Founding and Honorary President of the Austrian Federal Logistics Association, Honorary Member of the Austrian Society for Traffic & Transport Science, President of the Austrian Foundation for Quality Management.
Mr. Macher is a Professor at the Danube University, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and the University of Applied Sciences Innsbruck.
He was a Director of Kirchner & Co AG from 1984 to 1988.
Mr. Macher was Managing Director of Rhenania-Hofmann GmbH , Estermann, Kirchner & Co GmbH, and Linz.
He was a Member of the Austrian Business Management from 1989 to 1995.
Mr. Macher was Integration Manager of Philips Data and Digital-Kientzle from 1991 to 1992.
He was Chairman of Business Management and Director General of KÜHNE + NAGEL Group and Österreich GmbH from 1995 to 2007.
Mr. Macher was Area Manager of KÜHNE + NAGEL CEE from 2002 to 2007 and Regional Manager of KÜHNE + NAGEL SEE from 2005 to 2007.
He worked for Kirchner (Rhenania) Group from 1973 to 1988 and Digital Equipment from 1989 to 1995.
