Andrews, CFA MBA, is President, Chairman & Chief Investment Officer at Cardinal Capital Management, Inc. (North Carolina).
He performs securities research, manages investment portfolios, co-chairman of investment committee.
He also manages day to day business operations of the firm.
He has over thirty years of financial management and investment experience.
Prior to joining Cardinal Capital Management, Mr. Andrews served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at both Medco Research, Inc. and BioStratum, Inc. He also served as Treasurer and a corporate officer at Burroughs-Wellcome, Co. He has served as audit committee chairman and board member of the North Carolina Symphony as well as a member of the board of advisors of the Duke University Medical Heart Center.
He has also served as a board member of the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and as past chairman and president of the Triangle Educational Advancement Foundation.
He holds BS and MBA degrees from the University of Tennessee.
He is a CFA charter holder, a member of the CFA Institute.
He is also member and past president of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts.
