John S.
Bliss, Principal, founded the firm in 1975 and has guided its growth since that time.
"After the first 10 years, we finally decided what we wanted to do when we grew up," he says, noting the firm's decision to focus on professional and financial services.
Thus far, he and the firm have survived the 'accounting wars' and upheavals in law, management consulting and executive search which have transformed those professions.
John has served as president of The Public Relations Society: New York, as a national board member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, as chairman of the board of trustees of the Museum of Holography and just elected to the Board of Trustees of the Museum of the Hudson Highlands.
A cum laude 1965 graduate of Princeton University, he earned an M.S.
in journalism from Boston University in 1967 and served as an officer in the U.S.
Air Force.
