Joseph H. Boardman

Joseph H.
Boardman held several positions throughout his career.
He was the President, Chief Executive Officer & Director of the National Railroad Passenger Corp.
from 2008 to 2016.
Prior to that, he was the President of Amtrak Holdings Ltd. and the Administrator of the Federal Railroad Administration.
He also served as the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Transportation and was a Principal in the US Air Force.
Boardman was also the Chairman of the Transportation Research Board and the American Association of State Highway & Trans Officials.
He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his graduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
