Karen Gilmore

Ms. Karen Gilmore, CPA, is Controller & Administrative Director at City Hill Ventures LLC.
Prior to joining City Hill, Ms. Gilmore has experience in leadership roles for start-ups and large corporations in the life science, health care, manufacturing, and technology industries.
For the past four years, Ms. Gilmore has provided consulting services to health care and life science companies, including HealthFusion, Minnow Medical, Organovo, and Auspex Pharmaceuticals.
Currently, Ms. Gilmore provides services to Canterbury Consulting.
Ms. Gilmore has served as CFO and VP Finance for HRE Performance Wheels from 2003.
Prior to HRE, She held CFO or Controller level management positions at QLogic Corporation, PacifiCare, FutureKids and Madge Networks.
She began her career as an auditor with the international accounting and auditing firm Coopers & Lybrand (currently PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Ms. Gilmore has a Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is a Certified Public Accountant.
