Kirby Kleinsmith

Prior to joining Valentine Ventures, Mr. Kleinsmith has worked in the financial services industry for many years, starting with Edward Jones as an investment representative and most recently with Irwin Investment, LLC as a co-owner.
In addition to giving investment advice, he has been providing financial planning services for his own clients as well as for other advisors during this time.
Mr. Kleinsmith summarizes the financial planning process as "a convergence of current and future financial situation to the goals of the client." Kirby equates a person's financial planner to having a personal Chief Financial Officer.
In 1990, Mr. Kleinsmith graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a second Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Resources Economics.
He was born in Oregon City, Oregon.
Mr. Kleinsmith is married with two children.
He is a certified ski instructor and enjoys hiking and skiing with his family.
