Mr. Lavinthal is Managing Director and General Counsel of Sunwater Capital.
Mr. Lavinthal handles a variety of issues for Sunwater including legal matters, deal management, operations, and estate planning.
Prior to joining Sunwater, Mr. Lavinthal managed the legal departments of GBI, a Shanghai-based intelligence company focused on the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and UrbanDaddy, a New York-based media and commerce company.
Before joining UrbanDaddy, Mr. Lavinthal engaged in complex cases in corporate governance, internal investigations, reinsurance, intellectual property, and general commercial disputes at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
