Marc Bryant

Marc Bryant serves as Senior Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer at FS Investments.
In this role, he oversees all legal and compliance functions across the firm.
Mr. Bryant brings deep legal expertise in the financial services industry and most recently served at Fidelity Investments in Boston as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of Asset Management Legal.
He also served as Chief Legal Officer for various Fidelity investment advisers.
Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Bryant served as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Retail Legal at AllianceBernstein L.P.
and as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at ProFund Advisors LLC.
Prior to this, Mr. Bryant supported the investment management division of General Electric.
He began his career as an attorney at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP, specializing in securities and financial services regulation.
Mr. Bryant is a member of the boards of Philadelphia Financial Scholars and Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia.
Mr. Bryant earned a BA in English from Colgate University and a JD from Emory University School of Law.
