AZL is an active, growth-oriented investor that manages portfolios invested in equity, bonds and money-markets. The firm manages equity funds which focus primarily on Europe; however they have significant holdings in securities from the US, the Emerging Markets, Japan and the Pacific region. AZL invests across sectors with a bias towards the financials sector. Their investment approach is based on asset liability management and a tactical asset allocation process which is then adapted in order to meet the requirements of each portfolio.
