Mr. Matthew W.
Hayner, CFA MBA, is a Principal & Portfolio Manager at Kovitz Investment Group Partners LLC.
He is also a member of the Chicago investment team concentrating on equity research and analysis.
Prior to joining Kovitz, Mr. Hayner was a Portfolio Manager for Madison Investments for 20 years where he served as lead manager on the firm’s U.S.
equity large cap strategy.
Before entering the investment industry, he utilized his chemistry education in a product development role for a Fortune 500 company.
He holds a BS in chemistry from Eastern Illinois University, an MBA from University of St. Thomas, and is a CFA Charterholder.
