Alba is currently the Chairman & President of Feu Public Policy Center, Director of Philippine Association of Colleges & Universities, Member of The Management Association of the Philippines, President of Foundation For Information Technology Education & Development, President of Nicanor Reyes Educational Foundation, Governor of Nicanor Reyes Memorial Foundation, President of East Asia Educational Foundation, Inc., President & Member of The Philippine Economic Society, President of Far Eastern College Silang, President of East Asia Computer Center, Inc., Member of Philippine Human Development Network, President of Roosevelt College, Inc., President of FEU-Alabang, Inc., and President of Feu High School, Inc. He previously served as President & Executive Trustee of Far Eastern University, Inc. from 2012 to 2023 and as President of Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning from 2018 to 2020.
Dr. Alba holds a doctorate degree from Stanford University (1993), an undergraduate degree from the University of Ateneo de Manila (1978), and a graduate degree from the University of the Philippines (1987).
