Mr. Michael Pento is Senior Economist at Euro Pacific Capital, Inc.
Mr. Pento brings eighteen years of industry experience to Euro Pacific Capital, where he serves as Senior Economist.
His economic and market commentaries are regularly featured on our website and in our newsletter, and he represents the firm in major media appearances.
In addition, he heads up an external sales division that markets our managed products to outside broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.
Mr. Pento is a well-established specialist in the “Austrian School” of economics and a regular guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, and other national media outlets.
His market analysis can also be read in most major financial publications, including the Wall Street Journal.
He also acts as a Financial Columnist for Forbes and a blogger at the Huffington Post.
Prior to joining Euro Pacific, Mr. Pento worked for a boutique investment advisory firm that partnered with Claymore Securities Inc., to create ETFs and UITs that were sold throughout Wall Street.
Earlier in his career, he worked on the floor of the NYSE.
Mr. Pento has carried series 7, 63, 65, 55, and Life and Health Insurance licenses.
He graduated from Rowan University in 1991.
