They screen out companies deriving revenues from the sale of arms or tobacco, gambling, factory farming, destruction of the environment and uranium mining, but may invest in businesses involved in mining, alcohol manufacture and commerce, and in businesses which use animal by-products. Labor standards are not considered determinant criteria.
