Rahul Agrawal

Rahul is a Director in the Actis Energy Infrastructure Asia team in the Singapore office.
He joined Actis in 2012 and has been involved in all Actis’ renewable investments in Asia, from deal origination to exits.
The main deals he has been involved in, in the Indian renewables sector, are Ostro Energy and Sprng Energy and he is currently a board member of Sprng Energy.
Rahul has been leading origination and execution activities for the SE Asia region for the last four years and is now solely focused on this region for all energy-related investments from the Actis funds.
Rahul has total of 17 years of investment experience, of which 15 years have been in the infrastructure private equity and investment banking space.
Prior to joining Actis, Rahul worked with ICICI Venture as an Associate Vice President in their infrastructure private equity team and previously with a mezzanine fund of IL&FS.
Rahul holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from BIT, Bhilai, Masters in Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
