Dr. Ren He is a Research Associate at Los Angeles Capital Mgmt & Equity Research, Inc. As a member of the research department, he is involved in a wide range of research projects including maintenance of the Dynamic Alpha model, development and validation of new statistical models for global and regional-based stock selection strategies.
His research focus includes: financial time series analysis, missing data analysis, Bayesian modeling and machine learning.
Prior to joining Los Angeles Capital in 2012, Dr. He was previously employed as a Principal by China Construction Bank Corp.
He spent three years working for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a statistician where he provided statistical consulting for several healthcare and oncology research projects.
He worked as a teaching assistant in the Biostatistics department at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his doctoral degree.
Dr. He received his BS from the University of Science & Technology of China in 2006, a MA from the University of Missouri in 2008, and a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012.
