Desmond is a Director-Acquisitions & Development at Vestar Development Co. Prior to joining Vestar in 2005, Mr. Desmond held positions in both property acquisitions and portfolio leasing with First Washington Realty, Inc. in Washington D.C.
Previously, he oversaw sales and marketing in the pension advisory division for Brentwood Asset Advisors in Santa Monica, CA.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the HBS Alumni Club of Arizona and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Heard Museum in Phoenix.
Mr. Desmond received his Masters in Business Administration in 2003 from Harvard Business School and graduated from Loyola Marymount University (Summa Cum Laude) in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.
