McGill is Senior Vice President of Exxon Mobil Corp.
Dr. McGill is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
He became Corporate Planning Manager of Esso Australia Ltd. in 1974 and Production Manager in 1977.
Dr. McGill joined Esso Australia as an Engineer of the Production Department in 1969.
He was Division Manager of Operations for Exxon Mobil Corp.
in 1978.
Dr. McGill was Managing Director of Esso Production Malaysia, Inc. He was Chairman and Managing Director of Esso Australia Ltd., Chief Executive Officer of Esso Holding Company Holland, Inc. and Esso BV and President of Exxon Co. Dr. McGill became President of ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing Co. in December 1999 and President of ExxonMobil Production Co. in July 2003.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.
