Welsh was the founder of Snowdon, Inc. founded in 2007 where she held the title of Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2013.
Currently, she holds positions as a Faculty Member at Stanford University, a Member-Advisory Board at the University of Washington, and as President of Linguagen Corp.
Dr. Welsh's former positions include Principal at ALZA Corp., Johnson & Johnson, Syntex Corp., GSK Plc, and Pharmacia Corp.
She also held the position of Group Vice President-Global Project Management at Schering-Plough Corp.
Additionally, she was the President of Robcor Properties, Inc. Dr. Welsh's education history includes a graduate degree from the University of Washington, an undergraduate degree from the University of Leeds, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
