Ted Baxa

Ted Baxa is a Partner at WSC & Company.
He leverages his background as a founder, operator and private equity investor to support searchers and CEOs across all stages of the investment life cycle.
At WSC, Ted helps searchers acquire high-quality, right-fit businesses and helps CEOs accelerate growth and transform organizations.
He serves on the board of directors of Labsoft, a leading Laboratory Information Management System software provider, and Driver Industrial Safety, a safety products and solutions business.
Ted previously was a Director in the Portfolio Operations group at Dorilton Capital, a ~100-person middle-market private equity firm in New York City investing in business services, healthcare and industrials.
At Dorilton, Ted supported due diligence and acquisition integration and led value creation initiatives in collaboration with management teams.
Ted also served as an operating lead and board observer of several platform investments.
Before Dorilton, Ted was an entrepreneur and operator, founding and running a digital technology and marketing services business called Frontlight Digital for seven years focused on scaling revenue generation in sponsor-backed, middle-market clients.
Perimeter Security, a business acquired by WSC co-founder Badge Stone following a search, was an early client of Frontlight’s and Ted’s passion for search fund investing spans nearly a decade.
Ted holds an Economics degree with Highest Distinction from the University of North Carolina, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
