The firm seeks to invest up to EUR 6 million in profitable (or close to breakeven) companies with a turnover of EUR 5-60 million which have at least three years of operation, added industrial or commercial value with a differentiator (patent, technology, brand, know-how), a business plan showing the possibility of redeployment, a management team committed to drive the redeployment and which has or will have an incentive plan over the term of the redeployment. FRED Partners does not intend to take majority stakes in their investee companies, but appoint a 'Partner' to the investee company's Supervisory Board, Censor Board of Directors or to act as a company administrator, monitoring the firm's redeployment and aiming to enable the company to significantly increase their value within a maximum of three years.
