Mr. Vicken G.
Ekmekjian, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at CIBC Private Wealth Advisors, Inc. He is a senior portfolio and relationship manager with CIBC Private Wealth Management’s San Francisco office, with over 20 years of industry experience.
He is responsible for providing wealth counseling services to a broad base of high net worth private clients, foundations and endowments through the implementation of tailored wealth management and investment solutions.
He is also a member of CIBC Private Wealth Management’s Asset Allocation Committee, which sets the firm’s target asset allocation recommendations.
Mr. Ekmekjian began his career at JP Morgan Private Bank as an investment officer responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients, including asset allocation and diversification through disciplined tax-sensitive strategies.
He also served as a graduate school intern at Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for a wide range of wealth management assignments.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Business Administration from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the San Francisco Security Analysts Society.
