Benedek is Chairman, Managing Director & Co-Founder at Benedek Investment Group LLC since 2005.
Mr. Benedek has been involved in finance for over 40 years.
He worked at Bear Stearns & Co. from 1966 to 1973 as an Arbitrage Partner.
At Bear Stearns, Mr. Benedek's responsibilities included M&A arbitrage, option, preferred stock, and convertible bond trading.
In 2002, Mr. Benedek sold his business to a New York Stock Exchange listed company.
He has previously served as a Director of the National Association of Broadcasters, the organization which represents the broadcast industry on Capital Hill.
Mr. Benedek holds a B.S.
from the Wharton School of Business, and an OPM certificate from Harvard Business School.
He is a Benefactor of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is himself a passionate art collector.
