Balasubramanian Ashok is currently the Chairman of the PSE Council at the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Chairman of the Petroleum Federation of India.
He is also a Director at the Oil Industry Development Board, a Member of the Petroleum Conservation Research Association, a Member of the Petrotech Society, and the Vice President of the World LPG Association.
In the past, he served as the Non-Executive Chairman of Chennai Petroleum Corp.
Ltd. from 2016 to 2017, Chairman of Indian Oiltanking Ltd., Executive Director-Retail Sales at Indian Oil Corp.
Ltd. in 2014, and Non-Executive Director at Lanka IOC Plc.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Madras and his graduate degree from the Management Development Institute.
