Ada Investment Management's primary focus is investing in publicly traded equity securities in developed and emerging markets. The may also invest in mutual funds, US and foreign stock index ETFs (excluding leveraged ETFs) or stock index or single stock futures contracts, and may enter into hedging instruments. Ada occasionally invests clients' assets in equity-linked derivatives and/or currency-linked derivatives. Client accounts may also be invested in short-term instruments for cash management purposes. The Ada Realty Fund is an opportunistic long/short equity hedge fund whose primary investment objective is to seek superior absolute returns while providing diversified and liquid exposure to listed real estate securities. Their holistic view of real estate valuation combines fundamentally-driven valuation with behaviorally-motivated investment themes. Ada Realty is designed to add value to client portfolios through its emphasis on the ability of a client to participate in strong alpha creation relative to the real estate market index. The fund addresses the common problems of volatility and liquidity that clients face in pursuing this goal. Ada's India strategy is a long biased, long/short equity strategy that provides investors a controlled and dynamic exposure to Indian equity markets while controlling for volatility and protecting against extreme currency moves. The strategy emphasizes the ability of an investor to participate in Indian growth, as well as take advantage of the inefficiencies in the Indian stock markets through a disciplined investment process. The resulting strategy produces long term capital appreciation while preserving capital in volatile markets.
